Tridib is an experienced experimental quantum physicist working on the development of the next generation quantum memory for quantum network and scaling up of quantum computation. He received his PhD from Raman Research Institute, India where he worked on co-trapping of ultracold atoms and ions inside an optical cavity. After his PhD, as a post-doctoral researcher in OIST Japan, he worked on interfacing optical waveguides with cold atoms and Rydberg atoms. Then he moved to LKB, Sorbonne Universite to work on quantum non-linear optics using similar systems. He enjoys designing, planning and building complex scientific apparatus for the application on quantum technology.
