Ioannis holds a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the ENS Paris, with research focused on String Theory and Quantum Field Theory. During his postdoctoral research at the LMU Munich, he extended his work on the string theoretic description of black holes and on topological field theory. In 2023 he started his work at the Quantum Algorithm team of Welinq, with focus on formal methods in Distributed Quantum computing, with the use of graph theory, category theory and topology.
