Chengjie is a quantum optics physicist specializing in the interaction between light and matter at the nanoscale. She received her PhD from LPS University (ENS de Paris) and ECNU, where she focused on the interaction between nanostructures and tapered optical nanofibers, nanofiber microcavities and plasmonic enhancement with metallic nanostructures. Following her PhD, Chengjie continued her research as a post-doctoral fellow at Sorbonne University (Laboratoire Kastler Brossel), where she investigated nonlinear and quantum effects in hot atomic vapors. She joined Welinq as a R&D engineer working on the development of Welinq's next generation quantum memory.
