Kilian Müller
Quantum Hardware Engineer

Kilian obtained a degree in Physics at the University of Heidelberg. He did his PhD in the cold atom group at the Institut d'Optique, then led by Alain Aspect, near Paris. He then completed his post-doc at the Collège de France with Alexei Ourjoumtsev. Kilian made the transition to industry by joining LightOn, a startup that aimed at developing optical processors for demanding machine learning tasks.
He found a new home at Welinq, where he is reigniting his old passion for quantum mechanics.
Kilian enjoys learning from his colleagues, sharing what he knows, and the feeling of a project well done.
