Project Manager

R&D Team / Senior – Paris, Île-de-France, France - Full-time

The job

We are seeking a experienced Project Manager to contribute to the development of our projects. As part of the R&D team, you will play a key role in our research and development efforts, collaborating closely with engineering and leadership teams to drive project success.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to guide project execution.

  • Leading project kick-off meetings, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress to ensure milestones are met.

  • Identifying and mitigating project risks, resolving issues, and managing changes to project scope.

  • Facilitating communication and collaboration among team members, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.

  • Tracking project performance using appropriate metrics and reporting on project status to senior management.

  • Ensuring projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Preparaing answers to calls for proposals and research for subsidies at an European level.
  • Coordinating reporting and project follow-up once funding has been obtained.

Required qualifications and Experience

  • Masters's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Similar experience in a startup, industry or academia.

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a technology or software
    development environment.

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate team members while managing various projects in parallel.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • A technical background would be preferable, to understand the constraints of the scientific team's activities.
  • English professional proficiency.
  • Experience with the preparation, submission, and reporting of European-level grants at European standards will be highly valued.
