As part of the Algorithms and Distributed Quantum Computing Team in Paris, you will be an integral part of Welinq’s quantum computing research team. You will contribute to the development of distributed quantum computing software and the implementation of quantum algorithms that leverage distributed and multi-core architectures to tackle complex computational challenges. As a Quantum Algorithms Engineer, you will join our growing R&D team to:
Design and develop software solutions for distributed quantum computing.
Implement quantum algorithms and protocols for distributed and multi-core quantum architectures.
Conduct testing and performance analysis of quantum software components.
Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into practical implementations, collaborating closely with our quantum hardware team, as well as end-users of quantum computing and quantum computer providers.
Collaborate between our multi-disciplinary team of quantum physicists, engineers, and software developers to explore the synergies between quantum hardware and software.
Keep up-to-date with the latest advancement in quantum software, quantum algorithms, quantum networking and distributed computing. Apply state-of-the-art technique to drive our quantum research forward.
Contribute to the generation of intellectual property though patents and novel algorithm designs.
A PhD in Quantum Computing, Quantum Networking, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
Background in quantum computing and quantum algorithms.
Experience in quantum algorithm implementation, design and simulation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex computational challenges.
Academic achievements and publications in quantum algorithms or distributed quantum computing will be highly valued.
Proven experience in quantum software and tools commonly used in quantum computing, such as Qiskit, Cirq, Pennylane or equivalent.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C/C++ .
Experience in distributed quantum computing will be considered as a significant advantage.
