Quantum Photonics Lead
Romain received an engineering in Physics from ESPCI Paris and a PhD degree in lasers from Sorbonne Université in collaboration with Thales Research and Technology where his research focused on upconversion imaging. He then settled in Sydney to work as a postdoctoral researcher on integrated photonic circuit for Lidar application. He came back to Thales Research and Technology as a permanent researcher to develop photonics and lasers technologies for defense and quantum applications from the laboratory to the field. He joined Welinq to lead the Quantum Photonics activity.
