The job

We're excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Senior Business Developer at Welinq. This role is your chance to be at the forefront of quantum technology, driving business growth and fostering client relationships in a cutting-edge industry.


Your role will encompass a broad range of activities aimed at driving our commercial efforts and ensuring client satisfaction:

  • Identifying potential new clients within the quantum computing and HPC sectors, understanding their requirements, and demonstrating how our solutions can address these.

  • Managing the sales process from the initial interaction to the finalization of deals, including the preparation of presentations, proposals, and leading negotiations.

  • Collaborating with the R&D and engineering teams to gain a deep understanding of our products and technology, enabling effective communication of their value proposition to clients.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of business development strategies, especially with HPC centers.

  • Representing the company at relevant conferences, workshops, and industry events in France and potentially all around the world.

  • Providing feedback to our product development team based on client responses and market trends to influence future product updates and innovations.

Required qualifications and Experience:

  • A Master’s degree in business management or engineering. Knowledge in quantum computing or a related technical field, particularly in relation to HPC applications, is advantageous.

  • Proven experience in a B2B setting, preferably in the technology sector, with exposure to quantum computing or HPC environments.

  • Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex ideas clearly and engaging with various stakeholders.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively, with a high level of organizational skill and attention to detail.

  • Knowledge of basic B2B sales techniques and familiarity with CRM software would be beneficial.
  • Fluency in English and French, with professional proficiency in both written and spoken forms.
