Talent Acquisition and HR Lead

The job

As our Talent Acquisition/HR Lead, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our
company by attracting and retaining talents. This position involves leading our recruitment efforts to build a world-class team of physicists, engineers, and support staff, while also establishing and managing key HR functions to foster a positive and productive work environment. You will grow with the company and shape its culture.

Responsibilities

As part of the leadership team, you will play a key role in our scaling efforts and will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent in the fields of quantum computing, physics, engineering, and related disciplines.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding.

  • Establish and maintain HR policies and practices that support the company's growth, culture, and values.

  • Structure team organization, objectives and career evolution.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for employee relations, benefits administration,
    performance management, and compliance with labor laws.

  • Shape the culture of the company, in alignment with its values.

  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace.

Required qualifications and Experience

  • Master's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; advanced degree or HR certification preferred.

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and management, preferably in a startup or high-tech environment.

  • Curiosity for topics related to disruptive innovations and/or quantum computing.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both French and English.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.

  • A proactive, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
